Hello blog,
It's my yearly update?? I missed out on 2020 though.
It is currently 1:51am and I'm actually working since 11am yesterday. Wanted to take a short break and update a little.
JianHua and I are doing fine, yesterday was our 3 years 8 months versary. He is still the same him I knew a few years back. Even we are unable to travel or take long break because of his work I am happy he tries to make effort to go on short staycation trips with me. It sounded like an "of course" thing for couples but it is really not easy for us cause of the nature of his work.
We are currently trying to get a house from HDB, the November BTO marks the 1 year we have been trying. I really pray and hope we can get it this time around.
As for work-wise, where shall I start?
2021 is coming to an end, I am notified by my CEO that he would like to promote me to the COO position. I have been trying to push this to maybe a year or two later. I don't feel that I am able to take up the position anytime soon. There's a lot of things I feel like I need to improve on and learn. It is going to be something quite heavy and I hope I am mentally strong.
I didn't get to mention last year, we have an addition to our family! The little boy brings us so much joy. He is currently at the stage where his energy level is always at 100%. He literally ran the entire 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor of AMK Hub while his parents are eating Kim's BBQ a few days back and that's when I realized what is " Bu De Bu Ren Lao". I ask him every day when will he be going to school, please go to school soon. He is getting along well with Chloe too, fed her, and played with her. They are partners in crime.
